About

The Oceania Renewable Power Summit is a leading two-day conference and exhibition dedicated to advancing the deployment of solar, wind and battery technologies throughout the Oceania region. Hosted in Auckland, New Zealand, the summit provides a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to share insights, tackle challenges, and explore opportunities shaping the energy transition.

Programme highlights include:

  • Construction and supply chain - overcoming bottlenecks and scaling projects
  • Market integration - connecting renewables to grids and ancillary markets
  • Financing and investment - unlocking capital for large-scale and distributed projects
  • Policy settings - shaping rules that enable flexible grids, new business models and the rapid integration of new generation

A growing regional network:

Launched in September 2024, the inaugural event attracted 200+ delegates from 118 organisations across New Zealand, Australia and Pacific nations including Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, Niue, Tonga and Vanuatu, as well as participants from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Nauru.

Building on this success, the 2025 summit saw:

  • Increased attendance and organisational representation
  • The introduction of a second stream on day two, dedicated to Pacific-focused content and regional energy priorities

The summit experience begins with an exclusive welcome function the evening before day one - a valuable networking opportunity for invited guests, speakers and delegates.
