The Young Energy Professionals Network (YEPN) brings together the next generation of Aotearoa New Zealand's energy workforce to connect, learn, and help shape the sector's future. Established by the BusinessNZ Energy Council in 2015, YEPN welcomes people with fewer than 15 years' experience in the industry, including engineers, technicians, planners, consultants, policy specialists, contractors, and field workers. Through events, networking, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, the free network helps members broaden their knowledge, build valuable relationships, engage in industry conversations, and learn from experienced energy leaders.
