The Pacific Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (PCREEE) is a regional centre of excellence supporting the Pacific's transition to secure, affordable, and sustainable energy. Co-hosted by the Pacific Community and the Government of Tonga, PCREEE works across 22 Pacific Island countries and territories to strengthen renewable energy and energy efficiency markets, industries, and investment. Its work spans policy advice, technical capacity building, knowledge sharing, investment facilitation, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with programmes covering areas such as renewable mini-grids, electric mobility, and energy efficiency. By helping overcome technical, financial, institutional, and skills barriers, PCREEE supports cleaner, more resilient energy systems across the region.
