Paul Makumbe

Paul Makumbe is the Founder and CEO of Sunergise, a leading New Zealand – and Pacific‑based renewable energy company specialising in commercial and industrial solar that has delivered projects across New Zealand, Fiji, Niue, Tokelau, Vanuatu and the Cook Islands.

He has more than two decades of senior leadership experience across energy, telecommunications and strategy. Previously, Makumbe served with CAMCO Clean Energy as the Pacific Regional Director, where he led the development of CAMCO’s TIDES blended‑finance platform for Pacific renewables and represented the firm in regional investment forums.

Makumbe holds a Master’s in Finance (with distinction) from Massey University
