Simon Dedman is the Managing Director of Kuehne+Nagel New Zealand, bringing close to two decades of experience across the global logistics and supply chain industry. Throughout his career, Simon has held leadership roles spanning the Middle East, Asia, and New Zealand, giving him a broad international perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing global supply chains. His experience covers sales, supply chain management, and general management, providing him with an end-to-end understanding of the logistics sector. Today, Simon focuses on helping customers navigate increasingly complex supply chain environments, leveraging innovation, technology, and strategic partnerships to improve resilience, drive efficiency, and maintain competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global marketplace.
Beyond his role at Kuehne+Nagel, Simon serves as Vice President of the Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation of New Zealand (CBAFF), where he leads the organisation's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) portfolio. He is a passionate advocate for the future of the industry and is actively involved in developing initiatives that create pathways for young people to build rewarding careers in supply chain, logistics, and international trade. Simon is widely recognised for his commitment to industry collaboration, sustainability, and talent development, working across business and industry networks to help shape a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready logistics sector for New Zealand.
