Subrata is a senior infrastructure and advisory lead with 25 years’ experience across Asia Pacific, specializing in strategy, project development, public-private partnerships and market creation. Deep expertise in energy, transport & logistics, e-mobility, maritime, and other infrastructure sectors. Proven track record in leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and delivering innovative solutions for public and private sector clients, multilaterals, and development partners. Advised governments at central and state level to open new markets for private sector. Expert Member of team that developed the National Guidelines for Responsible Business in India, Member - CII and FICCI led initiatives on private participation in Infrastructure.

Currently leading the pre-investment Transportation and Logistics practice for IFC Asia Pacific, based in Bangkok. Led the design and implementation of numerous projects comprising market development, feasibility studies, technology transfer and development of bankable projects in emerging markets. Prior to joining IFC, worked with the management consulting practice of KPMG and PwC, responsible for business development and execution of projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
